10. Chad Ochocinco
I’m not really sure why the T. Ocho show never returned for a second season considering Ochocinco and Terell Owens are not doing much work at the moment. I think Owens might have better luck finding a kidney donor, let alone a team who wants his services. Ochocinco cannot even find a way to contribute on a team that leads the NFL in passing yards. This couple is basically as relevant as Drake and Josh are at this point. Chad is averaging 22.7 yards a game this season. I think even Kevin Sorbo had a better yards per game average in Rock N’ Jock than that. I never even see #85 on the field anymore, the only time I ever see him is in pistachio commercials, which basically symbolizes his worth to the New England Patriots at this point. Fantasy owners pictured a Randy Moss renaissance for Ocho, but instead got the type of performance you would see from Kate Moss. Number 85’s 136 yard total this season, makes up 0.04% of the Patriots total offensive output this season.

9. Felix Jones
Jones was used to playing second fiddle to Darren McFadden at Arkansas, and he might be having to get used to that again in Dallas with the sudden emergence of Demarco Murray. Jones had been building up to possibly be the next great running back in Big D, averaging 5.9 yards a carry in ’09-’10, and then totaling over 1250 yards in ’10-’11 all in the role of a back-up. This year was supposed to be Jones coming out party. Instead it has looked more like Dan O’Brien in the 1992 Olympic qualifiers. Jones has only hit pay-dirt once, and has only gone over 60 yards one time all season. The Cowboys rushing attack is 26th in the NFL in first downs, and second to last in touchdowns, with only 2 all season. The rushing game has succumbed to Davy Jones Locker. Or Felix’s in this case.

8. Shonn Greene
The first of rule of fantasy football is not taking Shonn Greene in any league. Having Shonn Greene is basically about as detrimental to your groups future successes as Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. Green literally screws more fantasy owners over than 56K connections. I don’t know who is a bigger crutch to fantasy football. Greene, or anti-virus renewal notifications. Greene has only scored two TDs this season, averaging 3.8 yards a carry. He’s only had one, hundred yard game, and has yet to break a run over 24 yards. The Jets were 4th in the NFL in rushing in 2010, and 1st in 2009. This season, New York ranks 28th. Has the mediocrity of Greene led to Gang Greene abandoning the run?

7. Knowshon Moreno
Moreno has only 54 rushing yards the entire year and could very well be one of the least valuable offensive players in pro football. Moreno has more N/A’s in the stat book than Chris Quinn this year. Moreno averaged 4.3 yards a carry last season, and emerged as a valuable pass catching back. Moreno has only carried the ball 17 times this season and is getting more sleep in the locker room during games than Ken Griffey Jr. The Broncos are 25th in the NFL in total yards, and Moreno’s inactivity is only worsening the problem.

6. Brandon Jacobs
It looks like Jacobs has reached the end of his shelf-life as one of the better running backs in the NFL. After averaging 5.6 yards a carry last season for the G-men, Jacobs has looked more like Emmitt Smith on the Cardinals, averaging 3.1, with a long for the season of only 14 yards. For some reason, Jacobs is feeling the need to openly criticize NY’s usage of him in their offense. I don’t know how a guy, who runs like Booby Miles after his tore his ACL, can criticize a team that doesn’t use him because they simply don’t need him. Jacobs has spent as much time waiving a towel this year as Mark Madsen did in his entire career.

5. Reggie Bush
Fantasy owners probably thought they were set for a huge year from Bush after finally getting a fresh start in Miami. They were quite wrong as Bush’s worth to the Dolphins look about as valuable as Ugueth Urbina’s worth to the Marlins. After totaling 9 receptions in the first game of the season, Bush has managed to catch eight in six games since. He hasn’t scored a TD on the ground yet in 2011, and only has one run over 20 yards all season.

4. Sam Bradford
I don’t know who is more pathetic; the quarterback on Georgia Tech who got sacked by Rudy, or Sam Bradford on the winless Rams. Bradford has thrown only 3 TDs in 5 games. You would think he’s been playing against Urban Meyer every week. Does Bradford realize he was the offensive rookie of the year last season? Apparently not as he’s thrown as many TD passes as Matt Moore. Bradford has missed 2 games, and still has been sacked more than any QB in the NFL. He’s ranking near the bottom of the NFL in nearly every offensive category including yards per attempt (31st), completion percentage (31st), and QB rating (30th).

3. Mike Williams
Williams, much like Blount, is another guy struggling through his sophomore season in pro football. I don’t really know where to start with Williams; his numbers are inferior across the board in every category comparing this season to last. His 3.4 yards after catch stat, makes me think that he’s giving himself up after every catch like Victor Cruz vs. the Cardinals. He’s averaging a tad over 10 yards per catch, highlighted, if you want to call it that, by a season-long 23-yard reception week 3. I don’t even think Vince Papale would consider these numbers acceptable. After an 11 TD campaign in 2010, Williams has only managed to score once all season. For a team with little running game since Blount has gone down, you would think Williams would get targeted more.

2. Joe Flacco
Flacco’s first three games of the season: 810 yards, 7 TDs. Flacco’s last three games: 605 yards, 1 TD. Where has the old Joe Flacco gone? I think Todd Collins could have had better splits in that many games. Flacco’s 76.2 rating ranks him 26th in the NFL. His 52% completion percentage only beats out the totals of Kerry Collins and Blaine Gabbart. Flacco is playing so bad you would think that he played football at a school like Delaware...

1. LeGarrette Blount
Last season we saw this 250-pound rookie were explode onto the scene with a 1000 yard season in only 201 carriers. Blount’s explosive runs were topped off with his trademark leaps over defenders in plays that we would see all over highlight reels. The only thing Blount has been leaping over this season has been the doorstop of the infirmary as he has missed the last two games with a knee injury. But even when he was healthy Blount was not making the big plays we all have been accustomed to seeing. In 77 carries, Blount has only managed two for over twenty yards. Tampa just lost Earnest Graham for the season, and might be depending on a guy named “Kregg”, for the time being. Without Blount, Tampa Bay is a six-win team.
