SEND ME THOSE MESSAGES... I will answer my mailbag every Sunday night with a Locker Room Article! Ask questions.... I'll give my perspective.

Damien (Pittsburgh P.A.)

"What is going on with these rule changes in the NFL? Do you think the quarterbacks are too protected?"

I couldn't agree with you more Damien. We're one step away from throwing these pre-madona's out there with flags on their waste. In a league that is so well-run, I have no idea why you cannot hit a specific player below the knees when the other 10 players on the field are risking injury too. It does not make sense... injuries create drama. Drama is why we watch sports.

Adam (Clarksburg, W.V.)

"Hey jaymac its me lol but gotta a lil question for you...biggest bust in this nfl draft..biggest steal in this draft and also can pat white be a NFL quarterback i think hes a good fit in miami."

Well Adam, as we all know, it's hard to project a bust immediately after the draft because we have yet to see any of these players perform at the professional level. Taking an educated guess, I'd say there were two players that are questionable to me that were selected in the first round. Cincinnati's Andre Smith was a "laugh out loud" moment because the guy has jail time written all over his 300 plus pound "tub of Blue Bonnet butter" body (but I guess Cinci is a perfect fit considering their recent history). There is no question a guy that has character issues coming into the draft are likely to be complete disasters. As much as I want to say "get the stopwatch out of your (explicit) Al Davis, Darrius Heyward-Bey is not my other choice. Instead, I think the Raiders second round draft pick, Michael Mitchell. I thought they made a terrible mistake by drafting Bey and Mitchell who they could of got in later rounds with extra additions. Mitchell is a 216 pound safety out of the Ohio U. He was projected in the sixth or seventh rounds and in some cases, undrafted free agent. I'm not sold on a slow safety from a mid major conference who did not play elite quarterbacks... sorry.
