Dark Raider:

Can we even talk Oakland Raider football? What is Al Davis thinking? Yeah, I do not have a clue either. I do know one thing... Al Davis needs to get the stopwatch out of his (explicit). The Raiders drafted wide out, Darrius Hayward-Bay out of the University Maryland with the seventh pick overall. Hayward-Bay would have been around in the second or third round but when Al Davis sees someone that runs under a 4.35 40-yard dash, that is a franchise player in his mind. Seriously, until Davis steps in front of a UPS truck, the Raiders organization is doomed. Hayward-Bay did not even catch a ball in two of the games and he played in the weak, diluted ACC. The Raiders did not help themselves with their second round pick either, selecting Ohio safety Mike Mitchell who could have been their (literally) in the seventh round, if not a free agent. But since he had one of those "olympic performance" combines, Al Davis licked the envelope on him too.

With the first pick(s) of the 2010 draft, the Oakland Raiders select, Usain Bolt, Tyson Gay, and a cheetah from the amazon!

NFL Draft vs. NBA Draft:

Much like the NBA, the NFL Draft is the same bargain. In the Association, one bad trade sends you back four or five years. In the NFL, a top five draft can mess your entire organization. Then, you bomb for three years. Teams are designed to go 8-8. The highest percentages of teams with hope have the highest draft picks. There is a salary cap and the league is the most fair it can be in any professional sport. Nowadays, you go into the NBA season and you pretty much know who is going to make the playoffs... that's what it's coming to in the NFL. You do not want that. I can largely predict the divisions. San Diego, Indianapolis, New England, and Pittsburgh are guaranteed playoff teams this year. I can also name the teams that are not going to play postseason football- Cleveland, Oakland, Kansas City. This is NOT what you want NFL fans.

PS: Other Guarantees- Dolphins win less than 11 games. Also, Roy Williams will catch 70 passes and be an absolute "GEM."

Cincinnati:

The "BONGOLS" did a great job of drafting people that fit their "needs-" JAIL TIME. Acquiring Tank Johnson in the off-season then drafting Andre Smith who has had a multitude of character issues. What an absolute laugh out loud moment. I cannot say much more than that. Take it for what it's worth. Notice how the same teams, make the same mistakes over and over. You wonder why your obese and overweight. Maybe you do not eat healthy. "Oh no, I eat great!" How do you do it? Then you go eat with the person and they are slamming down bacon cheeseburger down their tube. Get serious, people do not change and nor do franchises in the NFL unless their is a firing in the front office. But it looks like the people in Cinci love Marvin Lewis for the time being, therefore NO CHANGE. Pathetic, disgraceful, and ludicrous is the way I describe that franchise.

I actually though the Bengals had a good draft. Yea Smith is a hoodlum it appears but him and Malaluga are both great values for your first two picks. Plus their OL is terrible so they didn't have much of a choice.

Al Davis is retarded. They should sign John Madden to be the GM, and then him and Davis should become the broadcast team for the Raiders. I would buy satellite radio just to hear those to guys talk football.

I gotta disagree with you a little bit on the Raiders. Hayward-Bey was projected as a mid-to-late first round pick (but the Raiders should have traded down if that was their guy) and Mitchell was high on a lot of draft boards (he would have been drafted for sure in the 3rd round.) Granted, both players went earlier than expected, but if those are the guys you want they why not take them. As far as Roy Williams been an absolute gem, he better be. I think Dallas got robbed blind in that deal. I watched Williams his whole career with Detroit. Exceptional talent, but a he's a poor rout runner, and doesn't play hard every game. Maybe getting put on a winning team will change that.
