Calgary Flames vs Detroit Red Wings >> Wings Take Down Flames
Written by Tom Burson - March 18, 2010

In a tight game at the Joe with Detroit trailing for most of it, the Red Wings are able to come out on top with the last minute heroics of Tomas Holmstrom, the veteran Sweed whose back side has become a common site for goaltenders around the league.

The game played much like the playoff style of hockey we will be seeing in the upcoming months, with few whistles and runs back and forth across the ice. Both goalies, Howard and Kiprusoff had stellar performances, making big saves when their team needed them most.

Pavel Datsyuk also scored for the wings.
