ATLANTA, G.A. -- The Cleveland Cavaliers will go for their eighth straight win in the playoffs tonight in the A.T.L. The Cavs have won all seven games by double-digits, something no team has EVER done. Lebron James is coming off one of his best performances ever. "Bron Bron" dropped 47 points in Game 3, along with grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out eight dimes."Right now, he's playing at such a high level," said Hawks coach Mike Woodson to the AP Saturday. "While James' performance in a 97-82 victory Saturday night didn't quite reach the level of his 48-point effort against Detroit in the 2007 Eastern Conference finals -- that was the one where he scored his team's last 25 points in a double-overtime victory, on the way to Cleveland's first appearance in the NBA championship series -- it certainly ranked in the top five." (ESPN.com). The Hawks have ben a "no show" throughout this series. Mainly because of their poor defense, atrocious free-throw shooting, and "close your eyes, it's that bad" three point shooting. Cleveland has yet to be challenged in the playoffs to this point. In Atlanta's case, a solid 48-minutes of good basketball is all Mike Woodson could ask for. The Cavs will try to mop up the Hawks tonight in Phillips Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on TNT. |
