ATLANTA G.A. -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have won all six of their post-season games by double-digits. Only the 2000 Indian Pacers are in that category. Cleveland us 2-0 in the best-of-seven series verse Atlanta, but tonight the Hawks will try to rebound in Game 3 at Phillips Arena. The league's MVP and first team NBA All-Defensive player, Lebron James, has been astonishing - - 61 points in the first two games. If the Hawks want to stop "Bron Bron" and the rest of the "photo booth" gang, they'll need to play complete team defense. The Cavs shot 53 percent as a team from the field in Game 2. Along with team defense, Atlanta will have to shoot better from the charity strike (50 percent from a line that even Dick Viatle and Tom Izzo can knock down 10 in a row should not be that much of a problem for professionals). Joe Johnson, Al Horford, and Marvin Williams have all been hurting throughout the series. "It's a little frustrating not to have a full deck," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said after practice Friday to the AP. "No one wants to go through a playoff series all beat up. We've got some key guys on the sideline." Whether they are hurting or not, the Hawks will need to bring the energy if they want to beat the "almighty" Cavs. Game 3 is tonight in Phillips Arena. Tip off is set for 8 p.m. ET. |
