HOUSTON, T.X. - - Led by a Joey Votto two-run double in the seventh inning, the Cincinnati Reds stunned the Houston Astros 4-3 Monday night.

Bronson Arroyo (3-0) allowed three runs in seven innings of work, including consecutive home runs hit by Lance Berkman and Carlos Lee to right field in the sixth inning that gave Houston a 3-2 lead.

Arroyo was helped by the bullpen. Arthur Rhodes got out of an eighth inning jam while Francisco Cordero pitched the ninth for his fifth save in five attempts.

Meanwhile, Mike Hampton of the Houston Astros pitched six and one-third innings while giving up three runs and eight hits.

Cinci moved to 7-5 on the season good for third in the National League Central. Houston fell to 4-9 placing them last in the Central four games behind the first place Chicago Cubs (7-4). The Reds will open up a three-game series verse the first place Cubs starting tomorrow at Wrigley Field. First pitch is set for 8:05 p.m. ET.
