Pittsburgh, P.A. - - The Pittsburgh Penguins took game one of the best of seven series against the fifth seeded Philadelphia Flyers thanks to goals by Evgeni Malkin, "Sid The Kid," Tyler Kennedy, and Mark Eaton. The Pens made the Flyers look as if they did not even belong in the playoffs with a 4-1 beat down.

Melon Arena was jammed packed as the Pens took the ice last night and they did not disappoint. The Flyers, who led the NHL in penalty minutes, had nine disadvantages last night. Luckily, the Pens only scored on one of the power-plays.

The story of the game: Philadelphia only getting 27 shots and Marc-Andre Fleury saving 26 of those shots. Fleury allowed a late goal in the third period by Flyers Simon Gange.

Flyers goaltender, Martin Biron, told the AP, "Having to play catch-up hockey against that team is not an easy thing."

Game two of the series will be back in Pittsburgh Friday night. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. ET.
