It may be the Los Angeles Dodgers home opener, but they will have to face the most feared left-handed pitcher in the Major Leagues, Randy Johnson Monday afternoon. The Dodgers (4-3) split a four-game series in San Diego and took two of three versus the Arizona Diamondbacks in the opening week of the early baseball season.

The "Big Unit" is 8-0 in his career at Dodgers Stadium. Johnson (0-1) has also struck out 85 Dodgers in those eight career wins.

Dodgers' slugger, Manny Ramirez, who is 4-for-19 (.211) against the "Big Unit" from 1994-1998. However, sine then, Ramirez has dominated Johnson hitting a .310 average (9-29) with four home runs and just eight strikeouts.

Chad Billingsley (1-0, 3.00) will get his second start of the early baseball season this afternoon. Billingsley is 2-0 in career starts verse the Giants.

The Dodgers and Giants (2-4) split their 18 games verse each other last year. Right now, L.A. enters with a better grip to the early season than San Fran. The Dodgers (4-3) are coming off a week long road trip where they took the last two in Arizona. The tested L.A. team will play just seven home games in the month April. That's less than any other team in the league.

Today will start a three-game set against their arch-rivals.
