Less than 24 hours ago a sign and trade deal was in place that would send Chris Bosh to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The only reason the trade didn’t happen is because Bosh didn’t want to play basketball in Cleveland. Cavalier fans could only hope that Chris Bosh would warm up to the idea of playing for the Cavs and come aboard. Unfortunately for Cavalier fans, today Chris Bosh made a decision about what he want to do but it wasn’t to play for Cleveland.

Instead Bosh is headed to South Beach to play for the Miami Heat. The good news didn’t stop there for Miami fans. Dwayne Wade also announced today that he will stay with Miami. I don’t say they have signed because contracts cannot officially be signed until Thursday. Wade cited the opportunity to play with Bosh as the reason he chose Miami over his hometown Chicago Bulls.

"It was very difficult, one of the hardest decisions I've had to make as a professional player," Wade said. "It came down to Chris and his decision to play here in Miami -- I couldn't pass up on that decision."

"I couldn't make this an emotional decision -- I had to take my emotions out of it," he added.

Wade said from the beginning that his top priority is winning a championship and that he would only sign with a team if he felt he had enough necessary players around him to win a title. Apparently, he never changed that mindset of thinking.

The duo of Wade and Bosh in Miami will be one to be reckoned with for sure. The Heat will need to add more players though before the season starts, right now they only have four players under contract (Wade, Bosh, Michael Beasley, and Mario Chalmers). Miami still does have the necessary cap space to sign more players though, including possibly LeBron James if he wants to team up with Bosh and D-Wade.

Speaking of LeBron James he will announce where he will sign tomorrow night at 9 p.m. on ESPN. The show titled “The Decision” will be one hour long and will conclude with LeBron announcing who he will sign with. Pat Riley, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh are doing everything they can to sell LeBron on why he should join forces with them in Miami.

This move is a shot in the heart to Cleveland fans and it now gives them serious reason to be nervous about LeBron leaving his hometown Cavaliers. Sources close to James have told ESPN.com that he is seriously considering joining Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade in Miami. Nothing is certain but you would have to think that had Bosh agreed to be traded to Cleveland that LeBron would almost certainly continue his career with the Cavaliers. Now things are less certain with Wade, Bosh, Stoudemire, and Joe Johnson off the board. LeBron would almost certainly play next season without the dynamic “sidekick” he had been hoping for. Right now everyone is just waiting for James decision; will he continue to play with the hometown Cavs, join Bosh and Wade in Miami, or pull a wild card and sign with the Bulls or the Knicks? Now more than ever the ball is in “King James” court and everyone is waiting to see what he will do.

Very interesting. I can't believe they are dedicating an hour long show to James decision, but since I heard the show's profits are going to kids charity, I'm all for it.
