After what seems like an eternity, the NHL has finally installed a "head" rule, which prohibits any lateral, back-pressure, or blind-side hit to an opponent where the head is targeted or point of contact. Hopefully, this definition is concise enough to stop this problem that has plagued the NHL for the past few years, especially this one in particular. Let's hope this does, in fact, ensure more safety to the players.
