Dear Celtics fans,

I hope you don't become as disgusted with watching basketball as the folks here in Detroit. Rasheed Wallace has been terrible the past couple of seasons, and we are extremely grateful to Boston for picking up our garbage. Detroit has enough problems, but thankfully, we no longer have to watch Rasheed trashing our TV screens. This might be a great new beginning for the Pistons and Detroit in general.

So, to all the Boston fans, enjoy the filth that you folks just inherited!!!

And if you disagree with this, than you are a jack@ss. ENGJOY!!!

Now now Pat, cool your jets. Detroit isn't the WORST, but they certainly aren't the best. Rasheed has many things to play for this season. Just because he was lazy in the playoffs doesn't make him a bad player, just about everyone on that team except Will Bynum (who was trying to prove himself) was being lazy. Being down 3-0 hurts teams mentally and its hard to get back up from that.

Detroit took apart that championship team and put in a young core (which isn't bad) but they have no veterans on that team except who? Tayshaun and Hamilton? You expect Villanueva and Gordon to look up to them? I know Gordon and Hamilton are battling for that starting position so there's already some argument between the 2 of who's better.

Rasheed Wallace is a cancer. His loud mouth and uncontrolable temper hurt Detroit more than he did help them. Rasheed lost Detroit the 05 Championship when he left Robert Horry wide open for a 3 that cost Detroit the game.

I wonder how he'll act coming off of the bench. His ego is bigger than his basketball skills, and I'm almost positive that will hurt Boston rather than help them.

Well to let you know, anybody with the right mind would pick Gordon over AI anyday. Gordons a what? 5 year pro, compared to Iversons 13 going into 14th season. Rasheed doesn't have to try in the Detroit playoffs, why should he? He was playing with one of the worst teams that made it into the playoffs that year. Granted Detroit did a lot for their dynasty in the past years, but really. A trade that sent Chauncey to Denver was the best thing that happened to that organization, on the other hand it wasnt so great with Detroit. Rasheed actually has something to play for this year with Boston rather than that dirt hole where the Lions couldn't even get a single win in the NFL, its the most inexcusable organization, they need better coaches and much better GM's. If Boston does get anyone to fill in the bench SF position that's decent..then id be wishing that i wasn't the team facing Boston. Oh, and how many points did you lose to Cleaveland each game?

Ben Gordon might be a ball hog, but I would take him ANY DAY over Iverson.

Regarding Rasheed, he played beautifully the first couple years with the Pistons. Once they won the championship, he became the laziest center in the NBA. This past seasons, I literally changed the channel everytime he stepped foot on the court.

I believe he took more 3-pointers than any other player on the team (over 100 3-pointers). Opposing centers had little trouble grabbing rebounds because he wouldn't do anything. If anyone is going to take 100 3-pointers it should have been RIP Hamilton.

I would've been fine if he would have came off the bench, but nope, lazy @ss started just about every game. If Iverson and Rasheed would have came off the bench, I think the Pistons would have had a much more successful season. So, I doubt that he's going to offer much to Boston. If he does end up playing well for Boston, than he can kiss my @ss for playing like a b!tch here in Detroit.

But regardless of how well he plays for Boston, his mouth and technical fouls are so stupid and annoying, I think he would "F" up any chemistry that Boston players currently have!!!

So, let me repeat, thank you Boston for picking up our trash. One man's trash is another man's treasure, unfortunately for Boston, not this time...

I guess that makes me a "jack@ss" doesnt it? Just because Rasheed's been trash-talking on your television sets doesn't make him "garbage", or a terrible player. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen have all the capabilities to motivate Rasheed, they've been playing with him for more than 11 years. Also Rasheed can stretch the floor and nail an open three, play great defense and gives us an ability to intimidate other teams with his integrity, but you know i shouldnt be talking when you got maybe one of the most clutch shooters improving every minute but pulls up to take the most ridiculous shots when hes on a "hot-streak". But not to mention his size, hes taking the toughest shots and giving the ability to get blocked on, trust me..hes another AI (as much as i love him) hes going to do nothing but hog the ball if he doesn't get that starting job.
