ORLANDO MAGIC vs. LOS ANGELES LAKERS

Pick the winner of the 2009 NBA Finals...

- In how many games?
- One argumentative statement of why?

I'm taking the Lakers in 6. Why? Because I picked them back in October so I have to stick with them. Although this is going to be a series with good/even matchups, L.A. will pull away with their "star" power.

I think L.A. wins it in seven. I heard that Phil Jackson isn't as keen on double-teaming Howard so Orlando's shooters won't get as good of looks from the outside. Their deadly three-point shooting has carried them this far and I don't see it continuing to be as successful against the Lakers

I'm going with the Lakers in six also. It's great that Orlando made it this far so ESPN can stop talking about LeBron and Kobe 24/7, but L.A. is still the better team. Dwight Howard won't be the mismatch he was in the Cleveland series.

I agree with the six games. But I'm going with Orlando. The Cavs did a piss poor job of defending that team, but it demonstrated that their team can go in the paint, and if you block them there they will set up for threes all night. The Magic are just too deep.
